Genesee Country Museum. On Saturday October 6, 2007 we held a
demonstration at the Genesee Country Museum. This year's attendees were
Samantha, Bridget, Allie, Jenna, and Deana. The girls decided to dedicate the
day to Hallie, the daughter of Jeff and Jodi, who is awaiting a liver
transplant. They named the day "A ride for Hallie" and the girls made a donation
in her behalf to the family.
Summer Picnic. Held at Deana's cottage. A few of us were very wet!!
D2/D3 Rally. We joined Bristol Hills in co-hosting the D2-D3 rally in
August. Our team consisting of Kasandra, Maddie, Deana, Lauren & Lindsey (Horse
Manager) brought home first place in Horse Management and first place
overall. Congratulations girls!!
Visiting A Clinic. Held with Meaghan, an A level ponyclubber. Our
girls had a blast!! They especially enjoyed the cross country course.
Games Rally. Held in June at the Avon Driving Park. Ellyn teamed up
with Bristol Hills to create a scramble team - they placed 2nd in Horse
Management and 2nd Overall. Our junior team named which included Jenna, Kasandra,
Samantha and Bridget placed fifth and second for horse management. Allie teamed
up with Bristol Hills and East Aurora to place 1st. Congratulations girls!
Tetrathalon Rally. Ellyn and Jenna joined scramble teams from Western
New York to compete in this fun but grueling event. Ellyn competed on a Senior
scramble team and Jenna competed on a Junior scramble team. Their teams didn't
place at all overall, but individually they both took second for their division. Tetrathalon includes, riding,
shooting, running and swimming. They had an awesome time
competing in this rally.
